Did everyone have a nice day and recover from a minor food coma? Even the dog was too full after Christmas dinner!
I was more excited about the presents I gave to others than those I received. The way it should be, right? Everyone got a home-made present (except my brother, but he got some cool things too!) as well as commercial goods. I must admit, my future sister in law got the majority of the home-made things, but she loves the kind of things I made!
In the end, I made:
- Soaps
- Cake Pops
- Bookmarks
- CDS
- Fudge
- Bracelets
A nice little lot, I have to admit! I decided not to make the candles as I ran out of time (typical!) but I'm thinking of making them for birthday's/ treats for me. My future sister in law was so impressed with the cake pops, which were individually wrapped in cute cellophane with a hand tied bow round them, that she wants me to make some for their wedding as centrepieces! So excited!! I also gave one to everyone at work, instead of Christmas cards, and they all loved them. So much so that my boss asked if I can make them for Valentine's day and sell them at work!! I really wish I had taken a picture to show, but I completely forgot, I was just too excited to make them and give them out. They were red cake pops, some with green glitter and some with multicoloured hundreds and thousands. Maybe I should add these to my list of things to add to my business...
I hope you all had a lovely day. Now we prepare for New Years!
